We run regular tours and demonstrations explaining the experiments, as well as a range of other events. Experience even more fascinating phenomena and expand your knowledge of the world of science and technology.

Mini-madhouse

A little house that turns on its axis, confusing your senses and testing your perception.

Duration: about 3 minutes (please allow for a little waiting time)

Cloud chamber

The cloud chamber is a device for detecting radioactivity. Condensation trails reveal the natural radioactivity of our surroundings. Attend a demonstration and see the fascinating trails produced by weakly radioactive subsances.

Duration: about 15 minutes
(in German)

Mysterious forces

You cannot see them directly, but you can recognize them by their effects. Electromagnetic forces are baffling and mysterious.

Duration: about 30 minutes
(in German)

You will find the up-to-date times for the demonstrations listed above on the information screens in Spectrum Science Center and in the Museum of Technology.

General and thematic guided tours and demonstrations for school classes and groups.

As well as the regular demonstrations listed above, we also offer – by prior arrangement – general and special-topic guided tours and demonstrations for school classes and groups.

If you are coming with a school class or group please let us know at least three weeks in advance by phone (+49 (0)30 / 90 254-284) or e-mail.

Please note that we are currently able to offer guided tours and demonstrations only in German.
